Hello all you lovely people! Guess what day it is?!

wednesday dog.gif

A quick reminder before I get into the actual post, I have a bookstagram! (An Instagram account dedicated to books) I post 1-2 times a day no matter what and they’re all pictures of books. If you’d like to follow me, there’s a link to it if you scroll all the way to the bottom (it’s labeled ‘My Bookstagram’) or type in ‘ecrits_du_coeur’ and I’ll be doing a July book challenge so more books!!!

Okay, so for those of you that are new here, I’m Jasmine. 🙂 I’m just your average writer… actually I don’t think there’s such thing as an average writer. 😛 I hope you’ll stay a while my new friends! 😀

And if you don’t know, #1lineWed is a hashtag on Twitter where writers from all different stages of their writing come together every week and post a line based on the theme. The theme is usually posted within a week’s time by Kiss of Death on Twitter but I normally retweet it so if you can’t find it, look on either of our feeds.

Today’s theme was sky.

Here were the lines that I posted on Twitter for the theme. 🙂

The fox wasn’t far from where my poor car sat in the ditch with the tail lights beaming brightly into the sky.

The sky was a beautiful pink sunrise color and made everything seem more pure and lighthearted.

We sat down on the pavement, side by side, while watching the dancing stars swirl around the dark sky. I would never forget him.

He looks up at the sky and growls,“Why’re you doing this? I don’t get why she has a kid, though. You hurt me in weird ways, God.”

And just like every Wednesday, to the part where I share some tweets made famous by you guys! 🙂 Thanks to all of you for playing along and I hope you’ll join us next week for more fun!

She gazed skyward, as if seeking reassurance from on high that renting this cowboy a room wouldn’t end in disaster.

“The look of the windmill against the deep blue sky as she crested the ridge always filled her with a sense of wonder. ”

Yet it still shone through in random patches, projecting visible rays that lent a surreal glow to the sky.

The wind and rain of yesterday have left the trees bare, the skeleton branches feathering out across a colorless sky.

I lay down and take in the universe. It’s starting to cloud, pale violet obscuring the velvet sky, stars hiding from me.

It feels like I could say anything here and it would stay here, blowing away in the slight breeze to be kept secret forever.

He had eyes that were dark and seemingly endless- like the night sky, Rai feared them.

Humor danced in his stormy eyes even as his own desire darkened the sky and sea equally, making lightning flash in his eyes.

Killian woke as the sun began painting the sky in shades of red, yellow, orange and purples Serena lay a few inches

“Where the hell have you been?” he asked. “How about dropping from the sky,” she retorted, her back still hurting from the fall.

Every ripple in the water seemed to reflect the rainbow hues of the sky.

The sky was full of the kind of puffy white clouds that made you want to curl up into their folds and take a nap.

She knew that this sunrise was easily the most beautiful of the ones she’d seen so far.

He watched as seagulls floated playfully on the wind currents, screeching their goodbyes in the azure sky.

The sky cleared, revealing a tapestry of glittering stars, and at last she found rest beneath the light of the heavens

I used to tell Keeky to squint her eyes at the night sky and watch the star’s spiked light grow. Magic, she would tell me.

The trees of the meadow embrace us, arms reaching for a sky they’ll never touch.

A single point of orange light fluttered from behind the waterfall and floated up toward the sky.

“What shall I do?” Jo gazed pensively at the sky through her window. “Do nothing.” “Trust me, I would love to lie in bed all day–”

I stared up at the stars and planets strewn across the sky like fragments of a smashed windscreen on black asphalt.

And that’s all I’ve got for you today, folks! Thanks for reading and don’t forget to like, retweet, and follow all of these lovely people mentioned above on Twitter! 🙂

Like always, I post reviews on Mondays, tags on Tuesdays, my favorite #1lineWed tweets on Wednesdays, sometimes excerpts or short stories on Thursdays, Friday Prompts on Fridays, and Random Ramblings on Sundays. I’ll see you all later but until then, keep writing, loves. 🙂

People mentioned and where you can find them: There’s too many people to name, but if you click their names in the tweets above, it’ll take you to their Twitter profile.
